Pancare Physiotherapy
A physiotherapy practice at Mengo Hospital, organised the way patients actually describe their problem.

The brief this work answers
Pancare Physiotherapy Services operates at Mengo Hospital in Kampala, covering musculoskeletal therapy, sports injury and post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation.
Patients do not search by clinical category. They search by what hurts, or they arrive holding a referral and want to know whether this practice handles their case and where to physically go. The site had to answer both without a clinical vocabulary barrier.
Approach
Services are organised by presenting problem first and clinical discipline second, so a visitor can recognise their own situation before they encounter the terminology. Filtering and search sit on top for people who already know what they need.
Because the practice sits inside a larger hospital, wayfinding is treated as primary content rather than a footer detail — the location is stated explicitly and repeatedly, with a map and direct contact. Structured FAQs handle the questions that otherwise become phone calls: what to bring, what a first session involves, how referrals work.
The visual register is calm and clinical without being cold — a serif for warmth in the headlines, a neutral sans for body, and no stock imagery of pain.
Outcome
A site that lets a patient self-identify, understand what happens next, and find the department inside a hospital campus.
For a practice inside a bigger institution, being findable and unambiguous is most of the job — and it is the part that generic clinic templates handle worst.
