About

Clarity, then craft.

Bethel Mozart is the creative name of Moses Kintu, a graphic and digital designer based in Kampala, Uganda.

The short version

I design premium, modern brand experiences — identity systems, packaging, editorial work and websites — for businesses in Uganda and internationally.

Several years of hands-on experience across media, corporate and startup environments, including high-pressure creative roles, sits behind that. Most of it has been spent producing work to deadlines that do not move, which is a useful thing for a designer to have learned early.

My work blends strategy with aesthetics. Every design should be visually striking, but it also has to be purposeful and results-driven — a logo that survives a favicon, a layout that holds a long document together, a website that loads before a visitor loses interest.

I approach each project with a clean, minimal, editorial mindset: clarity, functionality and refined user experience. From brand identities to conversion-focused websites, the aim is work that stands out globally while staying relevant to the client's own audience.

How I work

I start by understanding what the business actually needs to happen — more enquiries, a higher price point, a team that can produce its own assets without breaking the brand. Design decisions get easier once that is written down.

Then I work in systems rather than artefacts. A logo is not a deliverable on its own; it is one part of a set of rules that lets everything after it stay consistent. The same is true of a website: the value is in the structure, not the homepage.

I show work early and plainly, I explain the reasoning, and I would rather disagree with a client during the process than deliver something I think is wrong. The finished work should be something you can maintain after I have handed it over.
